Miniature acceleration sensors

Accelerometers with ceramic sensor elements are characterized by excellent resolution and high charge efficiency. These properties make it possible to realize even small sensor designs. Miniature acceleration transducers (mass from 0.16 grams) are used for measurements on small and light structures in which the vibration behavior may not be falsified by additionally applied large transducer masses. With miniature sensors frequencies of up to 15 kHz can be measured.
