1/2 "-high temperature microphones

1/2"-high temperature microphones

Pre-polarized measuring microphones are usually used at temperatures up to 120 °C, however, the working temperature range was limited so far by the temperature resistance of of amplifier to 60 °C or 80 °C. The microphones shown here from PCB Piezotronics consist of a microphone capsule and a downstream high-temperature amplifier. These combinations can be used at temperatures between-40 °C and 120 °C. They are ideal for acoustic investigations of gears, brakes or turbines and engines.
