Unlike ICP® sensors, vibration transmitters provide an output signal that can be processed directly by programmable logic controllers and process control systems. There are models with vibration acceleration, vibration velocity and vibration displacement output available. The model PCB-(M)649A04 is even programmable via USB and can be parameterised for various applications.
