Signal Analyzers

A signal analyzer or spectrum analyzer is a measuring device for displaying measured quantities in the frequency domain. In the FFT analyzer (Fast Fourier Transformation), the frequency spectrum is calculated mathematically from the time course of a signal. Thanks to the high processor performance of today's PCs and DSPs, FFT analyzers are ideally suited for frequency investigations in the low-frequency range (up to approx. 100 kHz). Special computational algorithms allow the realization of band filters with octave and third-octave bandwidth, which are required for acoustic examinations.
