SOUNDCAM ULTRA 3 – Precisely Visualize Sound and Ultrasound
The next generation of industrial troubleshooting: Powerful, intuitive, and extremely versatile.
With the SoundCam Ultra 3, locating acoustic anomalies becomes as simple as taking a thermographic image. As a highly efficient all-in-one solution, it instantly visualizes frequencies that are otherwise undetectable to the human ear on its sunlight-readable 7-inch touch display. By combining high-end acoustics, an optical image, and an integrated thermal imaging camera, maintenance personnel and engineers are provided with a seamless foundation of real-time information.
Three Sensors in One Ergonomic Handheld Device
Maximum information density with minimal effort: The SoundCam Ultra 3 simultaneously overlays the live acoustic image (100 fps) with a high-resolution optical camera (Global Shutter) and a long-wave infrared microbolometer. This allows you to detect mechanical problems, thermal overheating, and acoustic leaks in a single, efficient inspection run. Four integrated LEDs ensure a razor-sharp real image even in poor lighting conditions.
Ultimate Sensitivity with 176 Microphones
Where previous models hit physical limitations, the Ultra 3 sets new standards. The optimized microphone array design, featuring a 200 kHz sampling rate and 24-bit resolution, drastically increases both sensitivity and dynamic range. Even extremely weak sound and ultrasound sources are pinpointed with high contrast and without image noise, even in the immediate vicinity of loud ambient machine noise.
Specialized Modes and Automated Audit Reports
The camera is ready for immediate operation without requiring prior acoustic knowledge. Preconfigured operating modes guide the user directly during the localization and quantification of compressed air, gas, and vacuum leaks, as well as the evaluation of dangerous partial discharges on electrical installations. The included Windows PC software (LeakReport and PDReport) then enables detailed analysis and the generation of audit-proof PDF reports in just three simple steps.
