Compact triaxial VC-MEMS accelerometer 3753A

person Posted By: Remo Dollenmeier list In: News

The variable capacitance VC-MEMS sensors of the 3753A series provide triaxial acceleration measurements in an exceptionally compact anodized aluminum housing and are among the flattest and lightest triaxial MEMS accelerometers from PCB®. These sensors provide a DC output signal and are ideal for measuring constant accelerations and low-frequency vibrations.

These models feature variable capacitance (VC) MEMS technology for stable and accurate measurements across a wide operating temperature range of −40 to +121 °C. The integrated electronics enable operation within an input voltage range of 5 to 32 VDC and ensure low-noise signal output via single-ended outputs. Measurement ranges of 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40 g are available, and the sensors are shock-protected against impacts up to 5,000 g. The sensor housings meet IP67 protection standards.
