It is easy and intuitive to use and therefore an ideal tool for maintenance and repair applications. It allows the monitoring of machines on any required repairs or replacement of bearings. In addition, it supports determining the reasons for the damage inflicted on a machine. Diamond 401 combines a vibration meter, a vibration Analyzer, and a data acquisition system in an ideal way. It is also able to measure temperatures and cavitation. The measurement results are compared with the defined values directly through the ISO 10816 standard. This makes the user able to make immediately a picture of the State of a machine. The State of bearings is determined using three complementary algorithms. The two-channel version of the meter (D and DT) puts the user in the position of one - and two-dimensional concentricity analysis of rotating parts. In combination with the software MBJLab can machine state on the basis of a predefined sequence of measurement data collected, analysed and archived. In addition, a report can be created from it.
