    Universally applicable piezoelectric pressure sensors are characterized by short rise times and a large bandwidth. This makes them ideal for measuring dynamic pressures in gases and liquids. Models with different measuring ranges and designs are available, with either ICP® technology or charge output.

    With membrane diameters of less than 4 mm, miniature pressure sensors are ideal for measuring dynamic pressures in gases and liquids, even in confined spaces. Sensor diaphragms and housings are made of one piece. At a resonant frequency of> 250 kHz, the sensors achieve a rise time of only 2.5 microseconds.

    The PCB-109 and PCB-119 Series Pressure Transducers are tailored for ballistic applications with their large measurement ranges, high temperature range, special case and diaphragm material and additional membrane coating.

  • High maximum frequency

    Due to their high resonance frequency of more than 500 kHz, the pressure sensors of the PCB-113 series are suitable for a variety of applications. They are used to measure pressure fluctuations in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, to investigate cavitation, compression processes or to measure explosion pressures and pressure waves.

  • Free-field pressure sensors (pop pressure)

    The PCB-137 pressure sensors are ideal for free-field blast pressure measurements thanks to the short response time of <4 μs, the high resonance frequency of> 500 kHz and the customized design. The quartz sensor element ensures high long-term stability despite the high load in the measuring insert.

  • Very sensitive (for turbulence measurements)

    Highly sensitive piezoelectric pressure sensors are ideal for measuring the smallest dynamic pressure changes in gases and liquids - a typical application is turbulence measurement in wind tunnels. The high resolution (up to 0.014 kPa) allows the detection of even the smallest pressure fluctuations in the medium. Models with ICP® technology and charge output are available.
